At Firelight Vizslas, we do things differently than other Breeders!

We are the only Breeder in the US of Naturally Reared - 5th generation RAW fed,  unvaccinated Vizsla puppies. We love sharing our passion for natural rearing with you and mentor our puppy buyers for life.

 Our practices allow us to to raise our litters differently also, producing what we believe are the most healthy, well socialized, and beautiful Vizsla puppies available.

I have been in the breed for over 30 years.

                                       My Story

 

I am a retired career Fire Officer and Paramedic, with the City of Miami Fire Department. I got my first Vizsla, Ellie, when I was a member of our USAR Team in the late 1980's.

Fast forward to 2009, when I got my 3rd Vizsla, Ember, the Foundation of Firelight Vizslas. My intention was to just to have a 'trail partner' now that I was retired, but she has taken me on an amazing Journey in the Sport of dogs!

Ember is now AKC Bronze Grand Champion, International Champion RBIS, Vizcaya's Firelight Phantasy, Registry of Merit, Therapy Dog and Canine Good Citizen

Ember is still alive and well in her 14th year, still ruling the household and overseeing her great great grand pups!

Firelight Vizslas is in the Asheville area of NC. Convenient to NC, SC, GA, AL, TN, FL, VA and within a day's drive of all of the East Coast.
